Semi Rigid / Rigid Board Twiga fibreglass wool insulation is a world class insulation product manufactured in India. Twiga Insul is made of fine, long, inorganic glass fibres bonded by high temperature resin and is widely recognised for its energy conserving and sound insulating properties. Fibreglass insulation is used with great success in the industrial, building and air-conditioning industries.
Mat Glass Wool Mat is rolled up under certain compression, and excellent resiliency of its thickness makes handling, storage and transportation easy.
Uses
- Thermal insulation of roof, wall, ceiling of building.
- Use for hot or cold tank, vessels, equipment, duct work.
- Acoustic liner in sheet metal ducts to absorb unwanted equipment and air rush noise.
Board Glass Wool Board, composed of fine glass fibres bonded together in semi-rigid boardlike form with thermosetting resin and special water repellent, has excellent thermal and acoustic insulation properties.
Uses
- Insulating furnaces, boilers, heated vessels, ducts and tanks.
- Insulating structure walls, cavities, or curtain-walls.
- Office partitions, foam/dams, refrigerators, freezers and miscellaneous non-molded automotive application.
CLEAN - SELF COVER
Clean Cover Glass Wool Clean-cover, faced with Kraft paper, is produced through CMP (Continuous Molding Pipe) process which is the most advanced manufacturing technology. It creates insulation for pipes with high thermal efficiency, exceptional sound absorption property, and makes the installation faster, easier and more economical then the old process products because the CMP process allows extremely low level of eccentricity and thickness tolerance of pipe covers.
Self Cover Glass Wool Self-cover, faced with incombustible, water-proof aluminium foil or aluminium foil on craft yarn with gluey tape on its edge, can be installed at once.
Uses
- For thermal and acoustic insulations of all kinds of pipes at residential or office buildings and industrial plants.
Temperature Range Twiga Insul is suitable for applications ranging from 195 C to 230 C. For special application up to 4500C high temperature binder is available. Aluminium foil facing is suitable up to 120 C.
Chemical Stability Twiga Insul is chemically inert. Application does not cause or accelerate corrosion. Rot proof and odourless.
Fire Safety Twiga Insul is non-combustible in accordance with BS 476 Part 4, 1970.
- Incombustible
- low fire propagation
- Extremely low spread of flame (class 1 BS 476 Part 7)
- Non emission of dense smoke and toxic gases (low toxicity index 0.86)
- Non depletion of oxygen (high oxygen index 70%).
Biological Twiga Insul is inorganic. Does not encourage growth of fungi and vermin.
Dimensional Twiga Insul is stable under varying conditions of temperature and humidity applied correctly. Excellent tear strength and not prone to sagging or setting. Rigid slabs have inherently high compression resistance.
